Writing in the Corner

I went to the MD again today. I still have an infection in my leg. Here’s how he can tell. He put his hand on my (uninfected) left leg for about ten seconds. Then he put the same hand in the same place on my right leg. The difference in size and temperature indicated to him that the infection is still active.

We discussed how it hurt (ouch!) when he pressed on my shin (my “Stop it man!” made him grin) and that my ankle was similarly painful at the joint. He wrote me out a prescription for sulfameth/trimethoprim 800/160 tablets (generic for Bactrim DS), which treats staph vs. strep. I am to return in ten days.

I am weary of this, as I’m sure my tiny audience is weary of hearing about it. Perhaps when I am healed I will be able to think of something else to write about.
