From Angie. Fun little meme!
LOVE TAG
What is your husband’s name? Calvin
How long have you been together? 10 1/2 years
How long did you date? 8 months
Who eats more? It’s a tie.
Who said I love you first? I signed an e-mail “Love, Ann.” He replied with “I love you.”
Who is taller? Calvin
Who has more speeding tickets? Probably me, though neither of us has had a ticket in a long time.
Who is smarter? I would say me, because I married Calvin :), but he married me.
Who is more sensitive? I dunno. Probably Calvin, because he would know and I don’t.
Who does the laundry? Calvin moves the laundry in and out of the machines, I fold and put away.
Who does the dishes? I empty the dishwasher and try to keep dishes loaded during the day. Calvin does the dinner dishes, finishes up in the kitchen and gets the dishwasher running. I have been slacking the last few weeks.
Who sleeps on the right? Calvin
Who pays the bills? Calvin
Who mows the lawn? Calvin
Who cooks dinner? Usually me.
Who drives when you are together? Calvin.
Who is more stubborn? Me.
Who kissed whom first? Calvin did. We had discussed it first by e-mail first, though. I told him I had no sense of when it would be suitable, so if he thought the time was right to go for it. It was on our first real “date.”
Who asked who out first? Our first meeting was on neutral territory. Our first date was a big football day (New Year’s Day). I don’t know if it was so much asking out as making arrangements. When you’re courting by e-mail, the first big step is talking in real life. He suggested that.
Who proposed? Calvin did, but I kind of made an ultimatum of it. I told him that we needed to decide if we were going to get married, and if we were, no sense waiting around, and if we weren’t, then we should just break up because why prolong the process? He proposed Mother’s Day weekend, 2007; probably about two weeks later.
Who has more siblings? I do. I have three brothers; Calvin has two (one living).
I don’t have anybody to tag ![]()
Thanks Ann, it’s really fun reading about other people’s romances (kind of voyeuristic in a fun and innocent way!).
Very cute!
What do you mean you have no one tag - you have more friends than anyone else I know!!
Guess I’m a little prejudiced here, I kept waiting for a Hobbs to pop in there someplace.
I just couldn’t think of anybody to send this to…isn’t that funny? Most of my online friends either don’t have blogs or they’re guys. A have a couple of female blogger friends, but think most of them are ex-mo and hence too cool for this, or not married.
It’s funny that you think I have a lot of friends, Angie, because I don’t think so at all. I have lots of friendly acquaintances, but that’s not really the same thing.
