I think if I was more liberal in nature to begin with and hadn’t internalized church teachings as much as I had, I think staying in the church would be much different story. I don’t despise the culture but I do have a problem authoritative nature and its damaging teachings that leave people feeling bad for being human. From all I have heard about Bishop Bruce, he sounds pretty cool!
