It’s a girl. Seven pounds, fourteen ounces, long fingernails, and absolutely fine. Mom and baby are both happy and beautiful.
She doesn’t have a name yet. Heck, she’s still not cleaned up.
a place for me to write what I’m thinking

oooooooooooo, congratulations, Ann!!!! sniff sniff I always get teary eyed when it comes to babies…they are just so amazing. I bet she is just beautiful. Is this your DD’s first girl? Be sure to update us with a name.
Awww, Congrats Gramdma! Give her a snuggy for me. Mmmm, there is nothing in the world like the smell and feel of a newborn baby. :o)
Aw, that’s sweet.
So sweet, Ann. I am happy for your new joy in life.

congratulations! my son didn’t have a name till he was 2 days old. it drove the nurses nuts!
YS was named by DW while she was on a morphine pump, a few hours after delivery. We hadn’t decided on a name when he came along 6 weeks premature. His head was lodged in DW’s rib cage, requiring a caesarian delivery. DW made an association, and we named him Adam.
Her name is Amy Karen (W.) I will post a link to pics when I get the link myself.
Congratulations, Ann, happy day for all involved. I imagine a new grandkid trumps blogging!
